First successful candidate hearing for the PhD program “Mental Health and Neuroscience”
On October 21, after a preselection phase, the first Candidate Hearing took place at the Karl Landsteiner University in Krems.
The six candidates each gave a short presentation on a scientific paper (Journal Club) and on their previous research experience. Afterwards, the candidates answered questions from the audience of future PhD supervisors and peers. All presentations were successfully mastered, and we are happy to announce that the candidates can start the six-month orientation phase - with the aim of developing the PhD project plan and hypothesis. We wish the new PhD students all the best for their research work, and we look forward to providing an update after the first kick-off symposium in about six months!
