An international study, based on the Body Image in Nature Survey (BINS) and with the significant involvement of Stefan Stieger from the Department of Psychological Methodology, investigated the measurement accuracy of the Nature Exposure Scale (NES) and the Connectedness to Nature Scale (CNS). The study covered 65 countries and 40 languages. The results showed that the CNS-7 is a useful tool for measuring connectedness to nature worldwide. In contrast, the NES appears less suitable for accurately capturing experiences of nature across different cultures.
