The European Health Data Space (EHDS) regulation has been published and creates a uniform framework for accessing and using electronic health data in the EU. This will give citizens more control over their personal health information while improving cross-border healthcare. In future, doctors will be able to access relevant patient data more easily, making treatment more efficient.
