Funding info
The Federal Ministry for Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure is funding projects in two areas with around 9.2 million euros: The first focusses on the combination of digital technologies such as AI and quantum research. Cooperative R&D projects, exploratory research and qualification networks are being funded. The second focus area centres on a flagship project on data-driven health applications. The kick-off events will take place on 18 November and 9 December 2025 in Vienna. Submissions are possible until 5 March and 14 April 2026.
Support from the KL Research Service
- Strategic advice on the project application and any issues relating to your research project
- Searching for suitable cooperation partners
- Assistance with developing your ideas and proposal checking
- Assistance with meeting the requirements of the funding guidelines and internal KL guidelines
- Administrative support with obtaining approval for research projects from the KL rector’s office
If you intend to submit a proposal, please contact the Research Management Unit as soon as possible, at least 2 weeks before the deadline.
