Commemoration for body donors
On 19 November 2025, the annual memorial service for body donors took place at the Karl Landsteiner University memorial grave in the Waldfriedhof cemetery in St. Pölten, accompanied by music from the KL orchestra ‘Med-Musics’.
An ecumenical service was held to commemorate those who had donated their bodies to Karl Landsteiner Private University. Reverend Martin Hochedlinger blessed the gravesite and, together with Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences Rector Prof. Rudolf Mallinger, Head of Anatomy and Body Donation Prof. Streicher, the ‘Med-Musics’ and Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences students, organised the atmospheric memorial service in the presence of numerous relatives, body donors, Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences students and other interested parties.
