Clinicians from Lower Austrian regional hospitals affiliated with KL
At the end of 2025, Karl Landsteiner University concluded a research cooperation agreement with five clinicians from the provincial hospitals in Mistelbach, Amstetten and Korneuburg-Stockerau as part of an affiliation with the university.
KL Krems supports the affiliated partners in their scientific activities with its research service - including advice on the selection of funding channels and support with applications, access to online literature services or the offer of free open access publishing.
In return, the clinicians undertake, among other things, to supervise KL students in their clinical internship year and to use the KL affiliation for all publications.
As part of their affiliation, the clinicians are awarded the functional title of "Clinical Associate Professor".
