Brain regulation training improves emotional competences in patients with alcohol use disorder

Prof Dr Martin Aigner, Head of the Division of Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Therapy at the University Hospital Tulln, is co-author of a study by the Anton Proksch Institute on the effectiveness of neurofeedback training for alcoholism. A total of 56 patients were recruited and randomly assigned to the control and study groups. The results are published in the journal "Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience".
