Autonomic nervous system education in Europe : EAN/EFAS/INUS survey on curricula and skills in autonomic medicine of European neurology residents and consultants
Recent publication
This Europe-wide survey of neurology residents and consultants highlights the state of education on autonomic nervous system (ANS) disorders. The ANS unconsciously controls vital functions such as heartbeat, respiration, digestion and metabolism, and is crucial for the balance of the body. All respondents consider clinical skills in the ANS to be necessary for good neurological practice. 92% of participants would like to expand their knowledge of ANS disorders. Prim. Assoc. Prof. PD Dr MSc FEAN Walter Struhal, Clinical Department of Neurology at Tulln University Hospital, was part of the team of authors.
