2026 Freezer Challenge

The Freezer Challenge - an international initiative that motivates laboratories to operate their refrigerators and freezers more sustainably - starts again at the beginning of the year. From 5 January 2026, interested laboratories can register free of charge and actively implement measures to optimise their refrigeration management until June. The aim is to save energy, reduce risks, improve sample management and cut costs at the same time.
