100,000 Euro sponsorship prize - Jury appointed

The countdown is on and it will be exciting. The deadline for submitting the 2018 Sponsorship Award of the Sparkasse Krems Private Foundation has passed. The jury of experts has now been appointed to review all submitted projects and decide on the awarding of the prizes.

Since 2013, the Privatstiftung Sparkasse Krems has been awarding an annual prize for regional projects and initiatives. Once again this year, 100,000 euros will be available for this purpose. "The award is intended to express our close ties with the region and the people," says CEO Günther Graf, explaining the reasons why the owner of KREMSER BANK, Privatstiftung Sparkasse Krems, set up the award in the first place. It was possible to submit projects for the award until 31 December 2018. The response was very positive. There are now 53 regional projects for evaluation by the expert jury.

Privatstiftung Sparkasse Krems has once again succeeded this year in getting well-known personalities enthusiastic about the idea of the prize and in winning them over to the jury: Sabine Siegl (Prorector Karl Landsteiner University for Health Sciences), Roman Janacek (Bergern/Dunkelsteinerwald) and Hubert Pöll (Musikschool Krems). In mid-May, all the winners of the sponsorship award will be announced. It therefore remains exciting to see which projects will be awarded prizes at the award gala on 25 June 2019 in the UND monastery.
