KRIS Resarch Information System
KRIS (Karl Landsteiner Research Information System)
The research information system* of the Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences, serves the ongoing documentation of the research achievements and activities of the KL researchers.
The Research Portal offers a clear overview of the information contained in the database:
- Publications (journal articles, monographs, book chapters, patents, etc.)
- Projects (funded projects, contract research, research impulses)
- Prizes received
- Research-related activities (lectures, editorships, expert activities, organisation of events, member-ships etc.
KRIS makes it possible to quickly and easily gain an overview of the research activities of individuals and organisational units (departments, divisions and scientific working groups at the Campus Krems or clinical divisions at the University Hospitals of St. Pölten, Krems and Tulln).
The database not only makes the research performance and the networking of Karl Landsteiner University more visible, but also provides the data basis for research-related reporting as a single point of information.
Where is the content from?
All persons who have at least one research output affiliated to KL are recorded in KRIS and have a public profile in the KRIS research portal. The person profiles are linked to the respective organisational units and can be filled not only with research activities, awards or publications prior to the period affiliated to KL, but also with individual information such as curriculum vitae, research interests, profile pictures and further links (e.g. ORCID, Scopus). The researchers themselves are responsible for editing and updating the profiles. The KRIS contact persons at the organisational units are available to assist them. The database is accessible to all authorised users via the OpenCampus login at kris.kl.ac.at/admin. The KRIS team strives to collect and validate the latest journal articles affiliated to KL. Project data is currently managed centrally by the Research Management Unit.
