Model WHO is a simulation of the World Health Assembly, the world’s largest health policy setting body that meets every year in Geneva, Switzerland. In the simulation, you will act as delegates of countries or non-state organizations, engaging with important global health issues. You negotiate and cooperate with other stakeholders, debate and write resolutions together. No previous knowledge or experience is required.
What you get:
Gain first-hand experience in diplomacy and health policy making where you meet like-minded people. A chance to engage with experts in the field. There are four presentations by speakers with diverse expertise so you can get a sense of the nitty-gritties of policymaking and apply it in your debates. Lunch, coffee and snacks on all three days, and a social event at the end of the conference on Sunday.
