Teddy Bear Hospital

The Teddy Bear Hospital Lower Austria was first held at the beginning of 2020 and has enjoyed great popularity ever since. At the Teddy Bear Hospital, the patients are cuddly toys and the children are their companions, while KL medical students are the attending doctors. The morning is reserved for kindergarten groups and school classes, while in the afternoon private individuals have the opportunity to get to know the Teddy Bear Hospital better.
The aim is for the children to have fun and take something positive home with them.
The children are first introduced to one of our TeddyDocs, either in small groups or individually. This TeddyDoc then accompanies the children and their cuddly toys through a series of stations. They start with registration and anamnesis to get to know the cuddly toy better, and then move on to the laboratory, radiology, pharmacy and many other stations until a diagnosis can be made for the cuddly toy.
All of this takes place in a playful environment to make it as fun as possible for the children, but also informative and interesting!
